Edit the POS Button Assignment for a Menu Template

On the Menu Template Configuration window, you can assign a location for menu item buttons in SubwayPOS®. All menu items must have a POS button assigned before the menu template can be published.

  1. On the Menu Templates screen, open the menu template where you want to assign buttons.

  2. On the Menu Template Detail screen, click POS Button Assignment.

The Menu Template Configuration window opens. [Show image.][Hide image.]

It includes these areas below the Select a Screen Group list:

    • Use the tab area to select another screen in the department (if there is one).

    • Use the button list (in gray at the left) to select menu items to be assigned to buttons.

    • Use the grid area as a prototype of the screen. You can add, move, and delete buttons for menu items, and assign the button colors.

  3. In the Select a Screen Group list, select the desired screen group.

  4. Edit the button assignments as needed.

    • To add a button to the menu, locate it in the button list (in gray at the left), then drag it to the desired position in the grid.

    • To move a button to a different position, drag it to its new position.

    • To move a button to a different menu, you must delete it from the current menu, open the new menu, and then add the button to the new menu.

    • To delete a button from the menu, click on the button or drag it from the grid to the button list.

    • It is not possible to copy a button.

  5. To assign button colors, do the following:

    1. Click the arrow next to the color icon on the button. [Show image.][Hide image.]
